The host: Would you STRIP for a certain group of girls that adore and support you?

Mirko: Of course I WOULD NOT nodding in AGREEMENT.

CC:” Well I dont dont to the very maximum but I usually do 115 KG @ ten times per set with 4 sets with 1:30 min breaks in between”

CC: ” Chinese connection!” He sais he must have looked it a hundred times with his friends back in the days.

about Fujita almost knocking down Fedor:
“I couldn’t believe that Fujita makes the mistake not directly to go after Fedor, if he would have attacked the legs brought it to the ground he would have been the winner in short time for sure..”

about Randleman on plexing Fedor:
“If he fell a bit more to the front or to the left..any direction different it could have been life threatening for him..” and Mirko tells further that the fact that Fedor could escape such a situation and get out as winner shows clearly his class and you just have to accept it like ther is nothing to discuss..

He still he thinks Fedor is the absolut best in the world also because of his ethics of living a fighters life.. he is not arrogant or bold at all and still lives in the same place like before to be better in concentrating on his training.
This is also the thing Mirko regretts a bit, that he let himself get distracted from pure fighting and training by doing the politics and other stuff, building his house etc. rather than just concentrate on fighting & training like Fedor did.

about popularity of MMA also in Croatia:
He thinks that for casual fans it’s still hard to understand that a MMA fight can be over any second and that for most fans boxing is preferred since they can clearly see who is doing what. He also tells that after his fight with Big Nog people came to him and couldn’t understand why the fight was over, that in fact many thought the round just finished rather than he got armbared.

1. Let’s start with humour. At the very end of the interview the host is already saying goodbye and thanking Mirko for participating when Mirko looks closer at the computer screen and says to the host he hasn’t asked him all the questions.

2. He says he shouldn’t have fought so early after the surgery but his desire to fight was to big. He says he hesitated in the Overeem fight because he was afraid to lose and also make a wrong move and injure his knee. But also he says sometimes he just doesn’t know why he fights so badly (like in the UFC).

3. He says the new surgery is not an excuse but he says the japanese people want to see him fight and he owes them. He says after the surgery he should be ready to fight in April.

4. Satoshi Ishi a gold judo medalist has called out Mirko. Mirko says it’s the first time he heard about that. He says MMA has become a business and if the Dream officials think a match between him ans Ishi will draw more PPV they will set that match up instead of him and Overeem. He says fighters have no say in who they fight.

5. He says his roll model was Mike Tyson because of his relentless style.

6. He says Fedor is the most dedicated fighter even more than him in terms of his life style. He says a mutual friend of theirs visited Fedor and was amazed in what kind of spartan conditions he lives in.
He says he willingy lives this spartan style to completely dedicate himself to fighting.

7. Also when asked if he can submit people he says he can but will never initiate the fight on the ground. He says Dean Lister can’t submit him when they train.
