GSP vs. Anderson Silva Possible

If GSP is victorious against BJ Penn at UFC 94, he could be facing Anderson Silva, as mentioned by Dana White, President of the UFC.

In a interview a few months back with UFC President Dana White, Dana commented on the possibility of GSP facing Anderson Silva.

“(Anderson Silva) could meet Georges St. Pierre at a catch weight,” said White. “This guy wants to challenge himself. He’d probably fight at 145 pounds if we asked him to.”

And now in a recent Interview with MMAweekly.com Dana White hinted again at the possibility of GSP taking part in a “super-fight”…

“If Georges wins, obviously there’s another super-fight lined up for him that he could possibly take,” Dana White hinted.
“Hypothetically speaking, if he (St. Pierre) beat B.J. Penn that night, it would be up in the air who is pound-for-pound the best in the world,” added White. “Who knows what we’d do, but it’s obviously a very interesting fight. If he beats B.J.” White told MMA Weekly.

The outcome of both these fighters next fight will help determine if Dana is indeed cooking up a 1 million PPV buy fight card.
